Where does the name Moonrock come from?
We took our inspiration from a unique type of handmade paper that originated
in India. The patterns on this distinctive, beautiful paper resemble
the craters found on the moon.

Does Moonrock focus exclusively on handmade paper?
Moonrock uses handmade paper for its product collections. We’re
introducing this beautiful art form to the consumer market at large by
applying new manufacturing techniques and quality standards to the handmade
production process. In the future, we will continue to explore innovative alternatives.
What gives handmade paper its special look and feel?
Handmade paper's unique look is achieved by paper artisans who are specially
trained in hand papermaking. Handmade paper can be embossed,
marbled, embroidered, hand-painted and silk-screened.
How is handmade paper made?
It starts with a vision of a specific look and feel. Artisans and paper
specialists then apply time-honored hand papermaking techniques to deliver
that vision. This labor-intensive art form involves many steps, as well
as natural elements such as cotton, water, grasses, flowers, leaves and
more. Artisans create a natural pulp, then add various elements for special
effects. The art of pressing, flattening and drying the pulp follows, until
the creation takes the form of paper.

Yes. Moonrock can create customized collections and products

Moonrock’s visual designers and creative manufacturing team will

How are Moonrock’s collections
organized?
Moonrock offers a broad range of products designed for a multitude of markets, such as stationery, wedding, home décor, office and storage. Each distinctive collection is carefully assembled to offer retailers and their customers a wide selection of product choices to meet specific needs and tastes.
Do I have to order an entire product collection?
No. You can select whatever products from our collections that best meet
your customers' needs. Please note that a minimum order size is required.
How durable are Moonrock's products?
Moonrock's durable products are in keeping with the strength of conventional
mill-made paper products. But each Moonrock product is made by hand, with
extra care put into every piece. All items are inspected by a team of trained
quality specialists before delivery.
How are the products packaged?
Moonrock products are ready for retail, packaged professionally
and branded with the Moonrock label. Moonrock is prepared to
work with retailers seeking a special look, and can package products to
any specification.
Can Moonrock bar code its products?
Moonrock includes UPCs on its packaging and can include additional pricing
information and bar codes if necessary.
Can Moonrock accommodate my company’s EDI standards?
Moonrock is EDI-compliant and fully capable of supporting Order-Through-Invoice
electronically. As a technology-savvy company, Moonrock adheres to a state-of-the-art
supply chain model utilizing a sophisticated technology platform and works
with an industry-leading EDI partner.
