Moonrock’s 100% organic products are handmade by artisans and trained workers, who shape and mold each piece by hand. These paper-making techniques were almost extinct before Moonrock decided that the world deserved to know about them.

Social Mission

Moonrock is also driven by a mission to accomplish important objectives in our world:

• The very fabric of Moonrock supports environmental sustainability by utilizing cotton waste. Virgin cotton waste from the t-shirt and nylon manufacturing process is recovered and re-made into a unique pulp base, which is the core ingredient of Moonrock tree-tree paper.
• We also help to maintain economic sustainability through a mission to create jobs first, and profits second. We believe those objectives are not mutually exclusive. Our manufacturing sites employ thousands of human beings (not machines or computers), who struggle to meet the demands of everyday life. Moonrock factories put women to work and send children to daycare or school.
